Site Supervisor

We're looking for a Site Supervisor to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team on the Severn Trent Water Framework sites in the Midlands.

 

Location: West Midlands, Solihull.

Hours: 45 hours per week.

 

What will you be responsible for?

In this role, you'll be working within the site team where you will be concentrating on the CSO programme (The Combined Sewer Overflows), the work will focus on the upgrading of assets to deal with the increased demand of water systems due to storm water and the increased use of treatment works, due to the population growth and the subsequent overflow.

Your day to day will include:

  • Being on-site for the successful delivery of muti-site works within the Severn Trent Area.
  • Ensure implementation of RAMS, ITP's and permits on-site, when specified, in line with Company procedures.
  • Input and awareness of construction programme and working alongside to the Operations Mangers.
  • Delivery of inductions, issuing of permits/forms and daily briefings (including toolbox talks) and record keeping (e.g site diaries and quality records).
  • Procurement and planning of equipment & materials for site establishment and throughout delivery of the scheme.

 

What are we looking for?

This role is great for you if:

  • Proven background in a similar role, working on major civils projects.
  • Knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme and Risk Management and costs including forecasting, actual cost, and value reporting.
  • Knowledge in producing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
  • CSCS Card.
