We're looking for a Senior Planner to join us at Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks for our major environmental mitigation project in the Southwest, Bridgwater Tidal Barrier.
Location: Southwest, commutable weekly to Bridgwater, with some hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible start and finish times
What will you be responsible for?
We're seeking an experienced Senior Planner to to join our team. This role will suit someone with large scale infrastructure project experience, in the NEC contract environment.
Your day to day will include:
- Lead and deliver all programme and project controls outputs for an NEC contract and be the programme conscience on a flagship environmental mitigation project
- Produce and review programmes for acceptance, impact programmes, project controls dashboards, reports and programme narratives and undertake analytical assessment of programmes and project metrics, making improvement recommendations
- Review resource loading, and maintain schedule resources in a Primavera P6 environment, to support project management decisions on sequences of work
- Support earned value analysis of the project, evaluate supply chain and subcontract programmes and ensure compliance with business processes and systems
- Contribute and support operational and commercial teams on use of collaborative planning, risk and commercial issues to ensure accurate forecasts to the end of the project
- Establish and maintain internal and external project controls reporting
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Planner is great for you if you have:
- Proven background in a similar role, planning large scale infrastructure projects
- NEC ECC project experience and have a good understanding of commercial and contractual matters
- The ability to form programmes in Primavera P6
- Full driving licence.
