We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Liverpool team. 

Location: Liverpool / Wirrall 

Hours: 40 hours per week  - can consider some flexibility on hours

What will you be responsible for?

As Quantity Surveyor you will be working alongside an experienced team delivering a new build education project in Upton, working alongside the project commercial lead you will be key to the management and mitigation of cost and risk of the project,  enhancing value for money, while still achieving the required legal standards and quality under the specific agreed contract conditions 

Your day to day will include:

• Organising the division of projects into component work packages for procurement.
• Assessing returns from sub-contractors and awarding work packages.
• Carrying out site measurements to assess accuracy of applications from sub contractors
• Managing applications for payment from sub contractors
• Preparation of applications for payment to clients and preparation of final accounts
• Dealing with client representatives, sub contractors, internal and external stakeholders 

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor  is great for you if:

• You hold relevant academic qualification – Degree / HND or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
• Have experience within high value construction projects, ideally within a Tier 1 Main Contracting environment 
• Hold Full UK Driving License #
