We're looking for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Bam JV team at Devonport Dockyard, based in Plymouth, Devon
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Hours: 45 hours per week, agile work flexibility
Responsibilities as a Managing Quantity Surveyor
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor you'll be working within the Nuclear Major Projects team, supporting in:
- Manage the departments subcontract procurement process, ensuring that buying opportunities are maximised
- Oversee the departments subcontract management from first valuation to final account
- Assisting the Commercial Manager to oversee the production of the Value Cost Reconciliations, cash revenue, and cash expenditure, ensuring that they are delivered to a good level of accuracy
- Ensure that the opportunity to claim third party rebates are maximised through product specification
- Assist the Commercial Manager with the negotiation of new contracts
What are we looking for?
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- Have a track record of successfully managing a commercial team and understanding of customer service
- Strong contractual knowledge of NEC contract Conditions
- Tier 1 Main Contracting Experience
