We're looking for Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our Eastern and Midlands team based in Nottingham.

Location: Nottingham 

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

What will you be responsible for?

As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Eastern and Midlands team, overseeing all cost-related aspects of construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency, budget management, and compliance with contractual obligations across a variety of sectors including Education, Health, Commercial and Leisure. 

Your day to day will include:

• Managing applications for payment from sub contractors  
• Preparation of applications for payment to clients. 
• Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)  
• Preparation of final accounts  
• Managing team workloads  

What are we looking for?

This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• Relevant experience within high value construction projects at Managing level  
• Tier 1 Main Contracting Experience within high value new builds.  
• Strong contractual knowledge of NEC and JCT Contract Conditions  
• Ability to assign commercial resources and provide management and mentorship to staff at various levels.
