We're looking for a Highways Maintenance Technician to join our Transportation team based in Towcester. In this role, you'll be involved the planning and scheduling of works packages for the highways maintenance teams in West Northants

Location: Towcester, West Northants - Site based role

Contract: Permanent Fulltime

Salary: £28k - £30k + benefits

Responsibilities

As a Highways Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with Highway Inspectors and Community Stewards to develop maintenance solutions for the network in line with the asset management strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for achieving key customer-focused outcomes and meeting operational and performance targets established by West Northants Council.

Your day to day will include:

• Ability to design plan and schedule works programmes
• Assist in ensuring key business targets and key performance indicators are achieved
• Ensure works comply with West Northants highways works specification
