We're looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join our Natural Resources team, working on projects in the Thames Valley region (North). In this role you'll supervise and control all mechanical site activities.
Location: Working from sites within the north Thames region valley, with initial focus art Harpenden.
Contract: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
We're looking for a Electrical Supervisor to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit. As a Kier Electrical Site Supervisor / Low Voltage Appointed Person, you will supervise and control all electrical site activities in an efficient manner, ensuring all survey and installation works are carried out in line with the approved design, sign of Inspection Test Plans and Thames Water and Kier Electrical Safety Rules (ESR's) / Safe Systems or Work.
Your day to day will include:
Supporting the development of commissioning documentation on a continuous basis, including outage management plans.
- Attend FAT, SAT, overseeing contractor site surveys and reviewing Electrical RAMS.
- Reviewing and signing off project ITPs, ensuring that they are managed through Kier's common data environment.
- Working with the supply chain onsite to fault find as and where required, and the supervision of site Electrical installations.
- Providing Safe Isolations of LV electrical systems and carrying out electrical audits in line with Kiers ESR's.
What are we looking for?
This Electrical Supervisor is great for you if you have:
- Good working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant / equipment.
- Relevant JIB Gold Card / ECS card
- C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations OR NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
- IEE 18th edition wiring regs and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test
- Full UK Driving Licence
