We're looking for a Coordinator to join our Transportation team based in Birmingham. Location: Birmingham

Contract: Permanent – flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary: Up to £29.5k per annum 

 

What will you be responsible for?

As Coordinator, you'll be working within the Transportation planning team, supporting with all maintenance repairs on the network ensuring they are completed within the target time meeting KPIs.

Your day to day will include:

  • Planning and scheduling the work for both internal and external operations, ensuring a high level of service is maintained throughout 
  • Ensuring we are complying with the corporate procedures, preparing job packs, and making sure programmes of work are clear and adequate 
  • Arranging for repairs on carriageways, footways, street lighting, arboriculture, street furniture and drainage
  • Checking and processing permits, licences, applications, traffic regulation orders and other service requests promptly and in line with the service specific requirements,  thoroughly and accurately checking that all required information and supporting documentation is correctly supplied
  • Applying conditions and other specific requirements to permits, licences, orders and notices coordinating works and events minimising disruptions 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Coordinator is great for you if:

  • You can communicate with a range of stakeholders effectively
  • Demonstrate sound working knowledge of software systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Confirm 
  • Produce reports accurately as well as enter data onto databases and spreadsheets
