We're looking for a Commercial Administrator to join our team delivering HMP Glasgow, one of Scotland's largest new build construction projects.
Location: HMP Glasgow
Hours: permanent, full time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Commercial Administrator, you'll be working within the Quantity Surveying team providing specific administrative support
Your day to day will include:
- Oversee daily the cash flow forecast tracker.
- Ensure QS team are storing a copy of all payment notices in one central folder for each month.
- Ensure tracker & requesting up to date insurances where applicable / on expiry.
- Assisting with collation of subcontract documentation.
- Attending Commercial Meetings & updating weekly action tracker accordingly.
What are we looking for?
This role of Commercial Administrator is great for you if you have:
- Experience in a similar position within a commercial / financial or construction setting
- Strong IT skills fully conversant with relevant Microsoft software (excel, word, PowerPoint, teams etc)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills & confidence to be able to liaise with all levels of seniority in the team ; quantity, surveyors, senior quantity surveyors, commercial managers & ultimately the
Commercial Director. - Excellent organisational skill set, able to manage workload and ensure timescales and deadlines are met.
