We're looking for Project Manager with a strong civils background to join our team based in Wanlip, Leicestershire.
Location: Leicestershire, Wanlip
Hours: 45 hours
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager (Civils) you'll be working within the water team, supporting them in the delivery of the Severn Trent Wanlip Project.
You'll be responsible for managing and delivering the civil engineering projects from inception to completion within a waste water, non-infrastructure environment. This role involves coordinating the design, construction and implementation phases while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and according to the specifications.
Your day to day will include:
- Provide active positive leadership of Health & Safety on site and with client facing meetings. Implement site safety culture and behaviours to achieve Kiers and clients' requirements.
- Responsible for driving cultural change into the Delivery/Design Teams to eliminate / minimise physical and nonphysical waste – i.e. sustainability, recycling techniques and standing time etc
- Oversee the management of site-based delivery teams and relevant areas of the supply chain to drive timely completion of projects, safely and within budget.
- Coach and mitigate underperformance of site team members to reduce the possibility of conflict and optimise performance and ensure the right culture in team development.
- Ensure all initiatives are supported and implemented with minimal disruption by understanding preliminary and detailed design/project requirements and solutions
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager is great for you if:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and regulatory requirements.
- EUSR Water Hygiene & CSCS card, SSSTS
- Understanding of UK Water Regulations
- First Aid
