We're looking for an Assistant Field Technician to join our Anglian Water team based in Kings Lynn
Location: Kings Lynn
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £12 per hour
The water industry is an exciting and vital sector to join as we enter the new five-year (2025-2030) AMP8 regulatory period. It's the perfect time to step into a growing industry that offers innovative opportunities to shape a sustainable future, drive environmental impact and contribute to ambitious goals for clean water and resilient infrastructure.
This role is part of integrated maintenance, repair and development services (IMRDS) that consists of Anglian Water, Kier and Clancy, who maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As an Assistant Field Technician, your day to day will include:
- Deploying water leakage equipment to listen underground to detect leakage noises from pipes so that data can be used to plan works across the region
- Reading and interpreting water maps to then transfer data to your tablets
- Interacting with customers on a daily basis
What are we looking for?
No experience required, we will provide you with full training.
You must hold a full driving licence and we will provide you with nationally recognised training such as EUSR Water Hygiene, Blue Card, Streetworks and Manual Handling training certifications, in order to successfully carry out the role.
We're all about finding potential here at Kier, and transferrable skills are always welcome! So, even if you don't tick every box, please apply and we can have a chat.
