We're looking for an Area Operations Manager to join our Anglian Water team

 

Location: Covering Norwich & Ipswich 

Hours: 45 hours per week 

 

The Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Developer Services (IMRDS) is the team that maintains Anglian Water's water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service our customers including supplying new water connections and water mains to new developments

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Area Operations Manager, you will lead the charge in delivering high-performance operational programmes while ensuring the highest standards of safety and efficiency. 

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Developer Services programme, ensuring on-time, safe, and budget-compliant delivery while driving performance improvements 
  • Champion a positive heath and safety culture, targeting zero harm. Ensure compliance with HSE, CDM, and environmental regulations
  • Inspire and manage your team, driving leadership behaviour, performance management, and continuous professional development
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth project execution 
  • Lead the adoption of industry-leading solutions and innovative practices to drive operational efficiencies 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Area Operations Manager is great for you if you hold:

  • Experience of leadership and management within an operational environment in utilities or a similar field
  • A track record of driving performance, ensuring safety compliance and delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Experience with health and safety protocols, environmental standards, and CDM regulations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Ability to lead a team through change, fostering collaboration and efficiency
  • Full driving licence
