We are seeking skilled and reliable Working Supervisors to join our construction team at Hinkley Point C.

Location: Somerset, Bridgwater
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £20.05 per hour based on experience (Overtime paid at £40.10 per hour)
19% shift uplift, earning up to £401 per day
Shift Pattern: 7/3/7/4 Shift Pattern, (16:30 - 03:00) / (07:30 - 18:00)
Bonus: Up to 10% of total earnings after the qualifying period
What will you be responsible for?
As a Working Supervisor, you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team in Somerset. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience on construction sites and a strong ability to lead a team while ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Your day to day will include:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day activities on construction sites, ensuring all tasks are completed according to project plans and timelines.
- To gain skills and knowledge and to achieve the standards of competency required on the HPC project regarding Safety, Health, and Environmental, Quality and Production issues.
- To comply with all site rules and maintain personal safety and the safety of others.
- To fully understand and comply with all RAMS, TBS, SPA's and TBT's.
- To comply with all of KBJV policies including those for SHE and risk management.
- To promote KBJV and NNB values in order to meet or exceed their expectations and fulfil the vision of becoming the most highly respected project in the industry.
What are we looking for?
This role of Working Supervisor is great for you if:
- Maintaining high personal and workgroup standards in health, safety, environmental awareness and behaviour
- Attending and participating in daily safety briefings, activity plan briefings and toolbox talks ensuring all personnel understand the briefing – question/answer
- Assist in control and ordering of materials, reduce wastage and improving reuse of materials where possible
- Complete Observation cards if you observe something unsafe, damaging to the environment or good enough to share with others and encourage others to complete the same
Qualifications Required
The following are mandatory requirements:
- SSSTS
- HSE Test for Supervisors
- CILM (N) Level 3 Award
- NVQ Level 3 OWS
- CSCS Skilled Card / CSCS Supervisor Card (Gold)
