We're looking for a Support Services Manager to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team based within the East Anglia region 

 

Location: Flexible within the East Anglia Region, you will be responsible for 4 stores across Norwich, Kings Lynn, Ipswich & Newmarket 

Hours: 45 hours per week –  some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Support Services Manager, you'll be working within the Anglian Water IMRDS team (integrated maintenance repair & development services), who maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.

 

You will be responsible for providing direct line management to the stores team and ensure a consistent approach to service delivery and store activities across all sites in Norwich, Kings Lynn, Ipswich & Newmarket. You will ensure workload distribution, performance monitoring, and adherence to company policies and procedures.

 

Your day to day will include:

  • Oversee supply chain logistics and ensure stores are run effectively so projects and reactive water work can be carried out as scheduled
  • Ensure legal and alliance stock hygiene and house keeping standards are maintained
  • Manage bi-annual stock checks and create inventory reports for internal stakeholders
  • Work with alliance partners on future planning and service improvement initiatives and ensure smooth service delivery of clean water repair parts to operational teams 
  • Work collaboratively with parts suppliers to resolve technical challenges 

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Support Services Manager is great for you if you hold:

  • Experience managing stores, ideally within the water or similar utilities sector
  • Technical knowledge of water network operations and materials
  • Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Experience of line management 
  • Full driving licence
