We're looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our Eastern Construction team based on a large Education project in Harlow, Essex
Location: Harlow, Essex
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Site Manager, you'll be working within the Construction team, supporting them in leading the day to day construction of a large Education project - Essential to delivering the project safely, to programme and with great quality.
Your day to day will include:
- To lead, manage and motivate the site's operational staff and to establish its full contribution to the organisation
- To fulfil contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while minimising costs. In particular, to ensure compliance with Kier Group's policies, procedures and best practices relating to the implementation of the project and the management of the site
- To manage operational communications and relationships with customers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, unions, and government agencies for projects
- To implement and comply with Kier Group's SHE policy and procedures, all legal requirements, and best practice within the Business Unit and areas. In particular, Kier Group's policies, procedures and best practices relating to the implementation of the project and the management of the site
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Site Manager is great for you if:
- You have experience of leading in similar scale construction projects
- You have SMSTS and First Aid at work
- You are an excellent communicator able to influence at all levels; are highly organised and driven to achieve high levels of customer and client satisfaction
