We're currently recruiting for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join our Group IT Cyber Security Team. This role will protect the enterprise from Cyber Security threats on a day-to-day basis. The post holder will have specific accountability for the security of Kier's physical and logical IT and data assets and will work with the MSSP, Group IT and the business streams to implement and maintain technical security standards and guidelines.
Location: Marriott House, Rushden with flexible, hybrid working
Contract: Permanent, full-time – flexible and part-time option will be considered.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Information Security Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing GRC subject matter expertise and represent Cyber Security at IT governance forums.
- Assisting with implementing Cyber Security solutions, with an imperative to develop effective Identity and Access Management capabilities.
- Conducting technical security audits, vulnerability and threat analysis, define and implement steps to close non-compliances and recommendations.
- Providing oversight and governance for security related incidents and problems throughout their lifecycle and act as an interface for senior management into operational security related matters.
- Working with Kier's strategic partners to ensure overall Cyber Security governance is understood and being adhered to by all partners.
- Providing consultative advice to Cyber Security customers within Kier's business environment to enable them to make informed risk management decisions.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Information Security Analyst is great for you if you have:
- Awareness of multiple security standards including List-X, List-N, ISO27001;2013, Cyber Essentials Plus.
- An understanding of the impact that emerging business and end-user technologies have on information security requirements and architecture.
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle, IT service management, infrastructure and operations, Enterprise Architecture and ITIL frameworks.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in existing security and IT systems and an ability to keep pace with changing security and IT technologies.
- Proven experience with Microsoft O365 Security tool set. Someone who really understands and can demonstrate working with Microsoft Security tools for at least 12 months.
