Kier Group are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join Kier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) which is our internal MEP Self Delivery business.
Kier Mechanical & Electrical has full design, construct and commissioning capability, operating with the Healthcare, Science/Technology, Custodial, Defence, Education and Commercial Sectors.
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire.
Contract: Full Time, Permanent. Ask us about other flexible options.
What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will work within our Technical team managing the electrical design for an assigned project
What will your core responsibilities be?
- To develop a cost-effective, coordinated working design with all necessary construction information.
- Ensure the design aligns with BSRIA definitions and project stage/fees.
- Provide constructive input into the design process.
- Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders on your project.
What are we looking for?
In a Senior Electrical Design Engineer we're looking for:
- Experienced Electrical Design Engineer working for Tier 1/2 MEP contractor/consultant.
- Experienced Designer in delivering medium to large complex schemes across varying sectors such as commercial, science, education and or defence.
- Full UK driving License.
- Hold a Professional membership such as MIET/CIBSE or CEng
- Degree/HND/HNC level qualification
- Proven record of achieving project results
