We are looking for a Senior CAD Technician, based nationwide, to join our Kier Professional Services arm of our Design business. Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

What will you be responsible for?

As Senior CAD Technician you'll be working within our Digital team, bringing construction designs to life through animations, interactive models, and immersive visual experiences. Working closely with project teams, communicating complex ideas clearly and compellingly using cutting-edge tools and technologies.

Your day to day will include:

• Creating high-quality animations, still visuals and interactive content
• Designing and developing bespoke interactive project walkthroughs, aiding users in exploring construction sites, buildings, and infrastructure projects in real time
• Producing real-time scenario simulations, interactive site logistics models, and virtual reality (VR) experiences

What are we looking for?

This role of Senior CAD Technician is great for you if:

• You have a Degree level qualification in a discipline relevant to this role
• Ability to create customised experiences within a game engine environment, including tailored navigation systems, interactivity features, and scripting or coding (e.g. Blueprints in Unreal or similar), an understanding of the construction industry and ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
• Strong working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and 3Ds Max
