We're looking for a Section Engineer to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks teams based in Warrington, Cheshire.
Location: Warrington, Cheshire.
Hours: 45 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Section Engineer, you'll be working within the United Utilities AMP8 framework, supporting them in the management the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality.
Your day to day will include:
- Provide and maintain all setting out and dimensional tasks to ensure all works are constructed accurately and within allowable tolerances.
- Co-ordinate site setting out to satisfy construction schedule requirements.
- Regularly check all survey and control points, instruments, and equipment to ensure fit for use and accuracy.
- Ensure all setting out instruments and measuring equipment use and security is controlled and suitably managed.
- Ensure workforce understand the setting out information provided, ensure suitable for the type of work being carried out.
What are we looking for?
This role of Section Engineer is great for you if:
- Min HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering
- SMSTS
- CSCS card holder
- First Aid
