We're looking for a Regional Pre-Construction Director to join our Construction team working across the Gloucester, Bristol and Oxford regions.
Location: Gloucester, Bristol or Oxford.
Contract: Permanent – Full Time
Responsibilities
As the Regional Pre-Construction Director for our Gloucester, Bristol and Oxford business, you will be a member of the business unit's Senior Leadership team, and report to the Regional Director. You will be responsible for aligning your businesses strategy with the overall Western & Wales Regional Business plan. Within the role, will be responsible for managing the pre-construction team and for taking overall responsibility for targeting and securing quality projects that support the profit aspirations aligned to the regional growth and business plans.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to (full Job Description attached below):
- To lead the development and implementation of the BU preconstruction strategy aligned with W&W strategy. Working with the BU Senior Leadership team to achieve the BU objectives in support of the W&W business plan aspirations.
- Responsible for creating work winning strategies and taking this forward into successful execution of pre-construction and mobilisation programmes.
- To lead, manage, motivate, and inspire the BU preconstruction team, providing opportunities and development for all employees, enabling them to bring their best selves to work and create a culture where everyone can reach their potential, be included and contribute to business success.
- Understanding team aspirations and jointly creating development plans for all team members to ensure training, development and career paths are clearly defined and actioned.
- Work closely with the BU Business Development team to support the business in developing relationships with current and potential customers.

- Excellent track record of work winning with knowledge of multiple sectors including public and private
- Strong team leadership with demonstratable capability in developing talent, skills and the potential of individuals and teams to create high performing teams.
