We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our Kier Places – Building Solutions South team based in the Basingstoke

Location: Basingstoke

Hours: 37.5 hours per week 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Kier Places – Building Solutions South team, supporting them in delivering commercially successful, high-quality refurbishment and re-cladding projects across the South.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing commercial resources of the project to maximise planned gross margin

• Tendering, evaluating and placing orders for subcontracts, materials and plant

• Identifying and managing variations, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks

• Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing and payments

• Producing regular commercial reports and forecasts

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

• You have relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying desirable)

• You have experience in a similar Quantity Surveying role in construction

• You can effectively communicate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and teams across the business
