We're looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join our Transportation team in Glastonbury, Somerset. In this role, you'll be responsible for overseeing our ISO-accredited Integrated Management Systems, with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities and implementing changes to continuously enhance the effectiveness of our quality processes.

Location: Glastonbury, Somerset - remote working available, with travel to office required

Contract: Permanent Fulltime 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us

Salary: £37,500 - £45,000 per year + £5k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quality Manager, you will identify areas for improvement and support operational teams in delivering effective solutions. You'll contribute to process improvement initiatives and enhancement projects across the Somerset Contract, while also overseeing and conducting both internal and external audits.

Your day to day will include:

• Ensure an effective Quality Management System is established, implemented and maintained at all levels
• Liaise with the Client's quality representatives to ensure full agreement and understanding of the project quality requirements and handover compliance requirements
• undertaking Audits in accordance with the Audit Schedule and that any adverse findings, including those raised by others, are closed out in a timely manner
• Assist with the reviewing and evaluating Inspection & Test plans including those of sub-contractors prior to the commencement of work activities, the ongoing monitoring of construction records and review and acceptance of the completed quality record packages
• Collate and manage Quality data and use to identify areas for improvement

What are we looking for?

This role of Quality Manager is great if you have:

• Experience of working collaboratively within the highways industry
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor qualified
• Understanding of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 management system standards
• Experience of 3rd party auditing and process
