We're looking for a Quality Manager to join our Kier Places team based in Reading, Berkshire.
Location: AWE Aldermaston, Reading, Berkshire
Hours: 40 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
The role of the Quality Manager is to support project teams with technical advice and guidance to support the error free delivery of our operations. The role will be to undertake inspections and audits and advise teams on the outcomes of the findings.
Your day to day will include:
- To support the project delivery team and supply chain with planning for an error free delivery of the facilities we build. Particularly through the creation and use of quality documentation, such as, Inspection and Test Plans.
- Support the delivery team to achieve compliance against the specifications through the application of research and knowledge of Construction products, components and processes.
- To undertake technical audits to monitor compliance and develop action plans to address any non-conformances.
- Identify trends in non-conformance reports and develop strategy to address any issues arising.
- Support site teams with expertise and guidance, in respect of project execution and quality plans
What are we looking for?
This role of Quality Manager is great for you if:
- You have significant experience in Quality Control on construction projects
- You have experience in delivering projects in secured environments
- You have the ability to be able to research, interpret and report on quality data and findings
