We're looking for a Porter/Security Team Leader to join our team based in Huntington, Cambridge.

 

Location: Hinchingbrooke Treatment Centre - Huntington, Cambridge.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, on a shift rota basis (06:45 to 15:15 and 12:00 to 20:30) Monday to Friday.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Porter/Security Team Leader you'll be the main point of contact for the porter/security services at Hinchingbrooke Treatment Centre, to the Customers, Staff and Patients.

Your day to day will include:

  • Providing day to day running of the portering and security services,
  • Delivering high quality portering and security service to all wards and departments, by supervising and allocating jobs to the staff on duty,
  • Carrying out CCTV operational checks, including recording activities,
  • To provide reports when required.

What are we looking for?

This role of Porter/Security Team Leader is great for you if you have:

  • Previous experience of leading a team of Porters/Security staff, managing a rota system and prioritising the department's workload,
  • An awareness of Trust policies and guidelines,
  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations with the ability to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
  • The ability to show respect and compassion when dealing with sensitive situations,
  • Excellent Communication skills.
