Contract: Permanent, Full time 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Planner, you'll be working within the Planning team, supporting them to plan and schedule work for both internal and external operations, ensuring a high level of service is maintained throughout. Accountable for ensuring the corporate procedures are complied with, jobs are relevant and have the necessary information, are properly prepared, and issued to correct gangs in the timescale provided.

Your day to day will include:

• Enforcing Kier groups values in the team and promoting these values, producing detailed works handovers / planned works
• Scheduling works to gang devices as required, batching works within the WMS system
• Liaising between planning and delivery teams ensuring they are planning jobs correctly first time, cost effectively, talking with third parties, stakeholders, promoting collaborative working in turn optimising network occupancy
• Supporting the Lead Programmer and providing regular reports as required
• Assessing plant and material needs for work to be carried out, undertaking risk assessments & safety checks, toolbox talks and audits, reviewing daily productivity targets ensuring budgets are managed effectively
