We're looking for a Permitting Officer to join our Transportation Team based in Edmonton. Working on our prestigious Transport for London (TfL) contract. Location: Edmonton, London

Hours: 42 hours per week

 

What will you be responsible for?

As a Permitting Officer, you'll be working within the Permitting team, supporting them in ensuring the rapid, efficient and effective flow of orders from receipt to completion throughout the various maintenance processes, mainly within Maximo, such as task order receipts, planning, scheduling, DCP, permitting and completions.

Your day to day will include:

  • Accurately assessing new work orders, assessing each work order, understanding whether utility statistic drawings are required and requesting, generating and collating accordingly
  • Closing / completing work orders quickly and in accordance with contractual and performance requirements
  • Using government websites, databases and procedures relating to co-ordination and planning of works
  • Entering, updating, maintaining and loading all information / data within relevant databases (e.g. Maximo and WMS)
  • Coordinating works ensuring Kier works are not clashing with those of others (utilities and other London boroughs)

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Permitting Officer is great for you if:

  • You are proficient in using Microsoft Office and general data inputting
  • Have the ability  and confidence to communicate across different levels, excellent planning, organisational and time allocation skills
  • Can work independently with minimum supervision, whilst also being an effective member of the team
