We're looking for a Kier Foundation Officer to join our team. The Kier Foundation is an independently registered charity that supports both Kier Group's charity partner and other charitable causes close to the hearts of Kier employees and the communities in which we operate. The Kier Foundation began in 2012, with the purpose of offering financial support to charitable bodies throughout the UK. Since its formation The Kier Foundation has donated over £3 million to charitable causes, thanks to the continued support of our employees
Location: Flexible on Location - hybrid working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: 18.75 hours per week
What will you be responsible for?
As a Kier Foundation Officer, you'll be working within the Kier Foundation Team, supporting them in the delivery the charities fundraising and employee engagement strategy. The post holder will take shared responsibility of campaigns and events that the charity organises and will deliver all associated KPI's and objectives.
Your day to day will include:
- Promotion of campaigns across the business such as winners club, the Kier Foundation team challenge and match funding programmes
- Working closely with the charity partner to run campaigns through the year to achieve partnership objectives.
- Manage the volunteer objective for Charity Partnership
- Present at team meetings and events across Kier to promote the work of the Kier Foundation
- Work with the Kier Foundation Manager to write marketing and comms content for The Kier Foundation website and campaigns
- Support the Kier Foundation Assistant with running the Kier Foundation lottery ‘The Winners' Club'
What are we looking for?
This role of Kier Foundation Officer is great for you if:
- Experience working within a charitable organisation for a corporate or events fundraising department
- Experience and confidence to present to and engage large groups (online and in person)
- Proven success of project managing fundraising campaigns and events from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of creating marking materials such as posters, newsletters and e-newsletters
- Proven success of supporting the achievement of financial targets within a charity setting
