Information Coordinator within the Transportation Digital Team

We're looking for three Information Coordinators to join our Kier Transportation Digital Team to support our high-profile projects cross the business.

 

Major Projects North – x2 Information Coordinators

Project Location: Penrith, Cumbria - hybrid working available, between Project Office and home/closer Kier office. However minimum of two days a week at Project Office is required.

Contract: Full Time, Permanent– flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know

 

Calvert Kier  – 1x Information Coordinator

Project Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire – role will be based on site on all working days for at least the first four months, with the possibility of hybrid working post-probationary period.

What will your responsibilities be?

As an Information Coordinator, you'll be working within the Kier Transportation Digital Team and will focus on adopting our information management process on our projects, ensuring compliance with industry and Kier standards, focusing on ISO 19650, and helping to deliver against client requirements. The role will be as part of a centralised Information Coordination Team so the successful applicant will be expected to support other projects dependant on deadlines and annual leave cover.

Your day to day will include:

  • Manage the CDE for the lifecycle of the Project and in line with Kier procedures and standards.
  • Manage and host training sessions for new users of the project CDE, either with groups or on an individual basis, as required.
  • Act as the main point of contact for ongoing support and coaching, including third parties such as client teams, designers, and subcontractors.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance of project file naming protocols with the Information Coordination Team and Project Team, in line with Client & Kier protocols and ISO 19650 where required.

What are we looking for?

  • Diverse and clear communication skills with experience of effective communication with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain
  • Competent experience with EDMS
  • Experience of working on projects with large volumes of data and information from various sources
  • Ability to handle a variety of situations at one given time, and to do so efficiently
