We're looking for two Head of SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks business unit working across our Nuclear and Water projects.

Location: Nationwide, agile work from home or a local Kier office, travel to projects when required

Hours: Permanent, Full Time

What will you be responsible for?

As the Head of SHE  (Safety, Health & Environment) , you'll be working within either the Nuclear or Water team based on experience, supporting them in ensuring that the company has the highest possible standards of safety, occupational health and environmental responsibility, and that these are properly and effectively implemented across the business. Responsible for the co-ordination and provision of all SHE support to the Business Stream and wholly consistent with Kier's SHE policies and procedures..

Your day to day will include:

• To implement and comply with Kier IMS and best practice
•  To ensure the Business Stream is compliant with all Kier IMS and contract specific requirements
• To encourage and support the creation of a functional culture that embraces and supports SHE(A) principles and goals
• To review SHE(A) issues / processes on a regular basis and introduce best practices
• To provide SHE(A) leadership / support across the Business Stream and supply chain
• To implement Kier Group's Integrated Management System (IMS), policy and procedures and all legal requirements

What are we looking for?

This role of Head of SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) is great for you if:

• Detailed understanding of SHE legislation
• Working knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards
• The ability to lead a team interacting with every facet of the business
