We're looking for a GPR Surveyor to join our Anglian Water team based in Northampton
Location: Northampton- mixture of office & visiting sites within the area
Hours: 45 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
In this role you will be working on the Integrated Maintenance, Repair and Development Services (IMRDS) alliance. The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As a GPR Surveyor, you'll be working within the Capital main laying team, who are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions to critical infrastructure projects.
You will play a key role in pre-design surveying utilising ground penetrating radar (GPR), ensuring transfer of site information to design teams/ engineers. Assisting the production team and engagement of key stakeholders assisting with developing and promoting schemes through IMR governance.
Your day to day will include:
- Conduct site-based investigations required to promote the optimum design solutions for a portfolio of schemes
- Ensure opportunities to maximise on benefits across delivery routes are identified
- Assume responsibility for site survey for each scheme, assisting from design through to delivery by ensuring safe, delivery to time and budget
What are we looking for?
This role of GPR Surveyor is great for you if you hold:
- Experience within a similar of surveying using GPR and RD8200 Cat
- TX10 Genny locator
- Full driving licence
