We're looking for an Estimator to join our Natural Resources team working, working on our Anglian Water (IOS) framework.
Location: Working from home, sites and offices in Lincoln and Norfolk.
Hours: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
We're looking for an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Estimator to join our Anglian Water IOS Framework team. Working closely with other members of our framework delivery team and the Client, to deliver value for money solutions for the mechanical and electrical elements of work in line with framework requirements.
Your day to day will include:
- Input into all aspects of the pre-construction phase of projects, including early contractor involvement.
- Carry out pre-work prior to tenders arriving and preparing multi-discipline tender pricing.
- Ability to produce differing levels of pricing, from top-down budgets to bottom-up lump sums or targets.
- Read and understand client specifications and drawings, considering site safety, health, quality and environmental issues.
- Attending internal and external review and progress meetings as well as site visits/meetings.
What are we looking for?
This Estimator role is great for you if you have:
- A proven track record of successfully delivering tenders/pricing of varying size/complexity with a good understanding of the Water Industry Mechanical and Electrical Specifications (WIMES).
- Ability to manage a portfolio of projects in a framework environment.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Experience of the pre-construction phase of projects to quickly identify risks and opportunities.
