We're looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor (AP) to join our Natural Resources team working. Based at our Mogden Treatment works site in Twickenham, you'll be essential for overseeing all electrical works and subcontractors on site.
Location: Working from site at Mogden, Twickenham
Hours: Permanent, Full Time – flexible and part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know
Responsibilities
We're looking for an Electrical Site Supervisor to join our NRNN business unit Water business unit looking after electrical activity on site at Mogden Treatment Works for Thames Water. As an Electrical Site Supervisor / Low Voltage Appointed Person, you will supervise and control all electrical site activities efficiently, ensuring all survey and installation works are carried out in line with the approved design, sign off Inspection Test Plans, and comply with Thames Water and Kier Electrical Safety Rules (ESRs) / Safe Systems of Work.
Your day to day will include:
- Support the ongoing development and refinement of commissioning documentation, including the formulation of detailed Outage Management Plans to support complex system integrations and energization strategies.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), providing technical oversight and validation of system performance.
- Conduct thorough technical reviews of Electrical Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to verify compliance with project and legislative requirements.
- Authorise and sign off Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), ensuring proper tracking and control through Kier's Common Data Environment (CDE) in accordance with project quality protocols.
- Provide technical support to the supply chain during on-site fault-finding activities, ensuring timely resolution of issues affecting electrical systems.
What are we looking for?
This Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:
- Relevant JIB Gold Card / ECS card as well as C&G 2330 or 2360 in electrical installations / NVQ Level 3 in electrical installations
- IEE 18th edition wiring regs and C&G 2391 Inspect and Test
- Working knowledge of sewage and water treatment processes, systems, and typical M&E plant / equipment.
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence.
