We're looking for an Electrical Apprentice to join our Transportation Team based in London, working towards a Level 2 apprenticeship in Highway Electrical Systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: London - based out of the Naval Row Depo or Fore Street Depo
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £28,808
How does an apprenticeship work?
As an Electrical Apprentice you'll be enrolled onto a Leve 2 apprenticeship in Highway Electrical Systems, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn. You'll work closely with the Transportation Team team to design, build and maintain infrastructure for the highways, rail, aviation and ports sectors, with a common goal of connecting people
Your day to day will include:
- Inspecting and testing equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with regulations
- Performing routine maintenance and repairs on electrical infrastructure
- Following strict health and safety regulations, including wearing PPE and working safely around roads.
- Gaining knowledge of electrical regulations and standards
