We have an exciting opportunity for a Development Manager to join the offices team of Kier Property Team. This role will lead and take responsibility for all aspects of the development process from the identification of new development opportunities (individual sites, land portfolios and/or corporate acquisitions) through to investment disposal.
Location: Foley Street London - hybrid working available, with travel to the office required 2-3 Days per week
Hours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
What will you be responsible for?
As a Development Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Seeking new opportunities, analysing project appraisals in line with the business strategy and outlining strategies to secure opportunities identified.
- Completing Board Papers to obtain approval for projects with final review by Senior /Development Director.
- Supporting presentation of projects at IC to obtain Board Approval.
- Working with the Project Manager to support the undertaking of all due diligence prior to purchase ensuring development is in line with project appraisal
- The negotiation and disposal of investments working with Senior/Development Director..
What are we looking for?
This role of Development Manager is great for you if you have:
- Experience within the development sector including identifying development opportunities and investments, negotiating lease agreements and ideally investment disposal.
- Experience of working in the office sector is welcomed but not essential.
- An ability to motivate and manage both yourself and the whole team.
- An ability to work with and negotiate directly with private and public sector clients.
- Demonstrable commercial awareness.
