We are seeking skilled and reliable Concrete Finishers to join our construction team at Hinkley Point C.

Location: Somerset, Bridgwater
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £19.10 per hour based on experience
19% shift uplift, earning up to £401 per day
Shift Pattern: 7/3/7/4 Shift Pattern, (16:30 - 03:00) / (07:30 - 18:00)
Bonus: Up to 10% of total earnings after the qualifying period
What will you be responsible for?
As a Concrete Finisher, you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team in Somerset. As a Concrete Finisher, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality concrete surfaces on a variety of projects including roads, foundations, slabs, and structural components. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in concrete placement, finishing techniques, and working to a professional standard.
Your day to day will include:
- Pour, spread, level, and smooth freshly poured concrete.
- Use hand tools (trowels, floats, screeds) and power tools to achieve required finish.
- Apply curing and surface treatments to protect finished work.
- Set forms, place rebar or mesh, and assist in preparation prior to pours.
- Ensure surfaces meet exact specifications and finish standards (e.g., trowel, broom, exposed aggregate, polished).
What are we looking for?
This role of Concrete Finisher is great for you if:
- CSCS, NVQ or relevant training
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher in a construction or civil engineering environment.
- Skilled in the use of finishing tools and equipment.
- Strong understanding of concrete properties and finishing techniques.
