We're looking for an 4D BIM Coordinator to join our Devonport Docks team based in Plymouth, Devon
Location: Devon, Plymouth- operating 3-5 days a week on site in our offices, as required by site with the remainder working from home
Contract: Permanent, full time
Responsibilities
As an 4D BIM Coordinator, you will be working with planners and designers to bring the projects to life using your experience in 3D & 4D modelling. Capable of visualising complex problems and articulating them on screen and off, whilst checking and validating model to and from the client/ designers.
Your day to day will include:
- Act as a subject matter expert for the digital construction tools/ applications and provide technical support to personnel as and when required
- Ensure that all modelling work is conducted in compliance with IOS 19650, BAM and CAD standards
- Produce high end visualisations to aid decision making and facilitate onsite construction
- Understand the hardware and software requirements on the project and communicate with the BIM Lead and Project Information Manager
- Become the point of authority for all Synchro 4D pro projects
What are we looking for?
This role of 4D BIM Coordinator is great for you if you:
- Have a good understanding of civil/ structural design and principles
- Interest in 3D-4D design, modelling and creating immersive models
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Synchro 4D pro
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and knowledge & use of model coding for planning purposes within 3D and 4D model
- Posses a high level of visualisation techniques (Framing, Colour, Contrast, Symmetry etc)
