We're looking for Bid Manager Degree Apprentice to join our Construction team based in Solihull, West Midlands, working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Construction Site Management.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Hours: 40hrs per week
Salary: £19,000 per annum - with salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course!
Start date: September 2025
How does a degree apprenticeship work?
As Bid Manager Degree Apprentice you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BSc Construction Site Management with our university partner, Sheffield Hallam, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.
You'll work closely with the Construction team to deliver buildings that are key to the UK's infrastructure.
Your day to day will include:
- Working across the bid management department
- Assisting the team with managing the tendering process from pre-qualification stage to tender submission stage
- Supporting the bid management team in co-ordinating the tender submission returns
- Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course
What are we looking for?
To enrol onto your degree, you will need:
- Level 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English
- 2 A-Levels
- Level 3 BTEC National Certificate / Diploma / Extended Diploma Or Advanced Diploma in a construction related topic
- Other Level 3 BTEC qualifications will also be considered, preferably with some work experience
To apply as a mature student, you will need at least 5 years' experience in a related career.
