We're looking for a Site Agent to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Regional Civils team based in the Midlands/South.
Location: Midlands/South – travel required
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Site Agent, you'll be working within the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team, reporting to the Project Manager you will support them in delivering a programme of works spanning the Canal & River Trust, and similar natured clients with river, canal, and reservoir assets. Projects will vary from emergency schemes, maintenance, and capital works.
Your day to day will include:
- Be responsible for the performance of the site as Senior site lead, as well as line management duties of Site Engineers and Foreman.
- Implementation and monitoring of SHE policies and procedures of direct and supply chain workforce, along with site incident management / escalation.
- Plan and measure day to day work activities for effective utilisation of direct and supply chain resources to meet short-term and contract programme milestones.
- Identify opportunities to increase value through effective change management, ensuring Instructions are received and processed to realise a change to Target Cost as applicable.
- Draft the Construction Phase Plan, and other site documentation, for approval by the Project Manager as well as developing and maintaining quality standards set out in the Project Execution Plan and Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP).
What are we looking for?
This role of Site Agent is great for you if:
- Industry experience working on capital projects such as dams, rivers and canals.
- 5 Day - Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Certificate.
- Hold full UK Driving Licence.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of NEC4 contract, CEMAR and Health & Safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
