We're currently recruiting for a L&D Administrator to join our HR Shared Service Centre Team. This role will provide a high-quality L&D administration service to the business, and act as the first point of contact for employees and Local L&D representatives across Kier in relation to our learning management system.
Location: Flexible, with hybrid working and travel to Rushden, Northamptonshire once a week
Contract: Permanent, full-time, able to consider part-time opportunities
Responsibilities
As a L&D Administrator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the Centre of Excellence and have responsibility for the booking and co-ordinating of training courses and leadership programmes, liaising with internal and external providers.
- Ensuring you and the team understand processes and procedures and follow the relevant process maps and LWIs (Local Working Instructions)
- Collaborating with the Communities of Practice and Talent and OD Centre of Excellence to ensure awareness of any upcoming changes to processes and procedures
- Responsibility for maintaining positive business relationships and communication with internal customers
- Obtaining a good understanding of the existing LMS functionality, Kallidus, and supporting team members and other Kier Administrators with user queries & escalations.
- Supporting the change process for Kier Learn, liaising with the business, community of practice and HR Systems team as appropriate
What are we looking for?
This role of L&D Administrator is great for you if you have:
- Previous experience of using Learning management systems – Kallidus would be advantageous.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal), able to communicate clearly and gain credibility at HRBP and Senior Manager level
- An ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- An ability to use Microsoft Office products, in particular, good Excel and Teams (or similar) skills
- Good attention to detail and able to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
- An ability to demonstrate a methodical, analytical and clear approach to problem solving.
