We're looking for a Support Technician to join our Kier Services Maintenance team based in Gosport.

Location: Gosport, Hampshire.

Contract: Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

As a Support Technician, you'll be working within the Kier Services Maintenance team, supporting them in providing an outstanding waste collection service in all void properties as well as supporting the overall contract with commercial waste collection.

Your day to day will include:

• Managing environmental waste and fly tipping disposal in accordance with Kier's Policy and Procedures,
• Sealing and securing void dwelling and disinfestation works, ensuring any pest issues are reported to senior staff members as soon as possible,
• Take a pro-active approach and reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others,
• Ground management, including the removal of undergrowth and debris from site.

What are we looking for?

This role of Support Technician is great for you if:

• You have previous experience of managing the removal and disposal of waste, in accordance with Health and Safety and Environmental policies,
• Understand and adhere to health and safety at work guidance,
• Have experience of ground maintenance,
• You can prioritise your workload, in line with contractual timescales.
