We're looking for a New Connections Senior Surveyor to join our South West Water team based in Devon & Cornwall.
Location: Devon & Cornwall – remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required
Hours: 45 hours per week – full-time
What will you be responsible for?
As a New Connections Senior Surveyor, you'll be working within the South West Water team, supporting them in delivering safe, accurate, and timely new connection surveys that enable construction works and contribute to strong customer satisfaction scores.
Your day to day will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for the surveying and office teams for any technical queries and survey escalations

Planning and carrying out new connection site surveys in line with regulatory and health & safety standards

Providing mentoring, guidance and technical support to fellow surveyors

Ensuring survey documentation, site records and feedback are completed to a high standard and submitted on time

Liaising with clients, customers and third parties to support delivery and manage expectations
What are we looking for?
This role of New Connections Senior Surveyor is great for you if:

You hold NRSWA Operative training and certifications such as EUSR National Water Hygiene, SHEA Water, SCMC and CAT

You have experience surveying within potable water networks and a full understanding of New Connections processes

You're confident using IT systems and mobile devices, and can support others in best practice and technical understanding
