We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in our North East Construction business. 

Location: Hebburn , Blyth 

Hours: 40 Hours per week 

What will you be responsible for?

As Quantity Surveyor you will initially be working on the latter stages of a leisure / culture project in Blyth seeing the project through to final account before being aligned with a new project in the region. 

Your day to day will include:

• Managing applications for payment from sub contractors
• Preparation of applications for payment to clients.
• Monitoring and measuring actual expenditure against budgeted project expenditure in the form of CVR (Cost Value Reconciliation Reports)
• Preparation of final accounts
• Checking and collating commercial information from team. 

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:

• Hold degree level (or equivalent)  qualification in quantity surveying 
• Experience working within the main contractor environment
• Strong Knowledge of NEC / JCT Contracts
• Strong knowledge of project commercial management
• Confidence in dealing with client reps, sub contractors and internal stakeholders
