We're looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our Kier Places team based in Neath Port Talbot Hospital.
Location: Neath Port Talbot Hospital
What will you be responsible for?
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be working within the Kier Places team, supporting them in ensuring Kier
deliver a safe, customer focused, cost effective, efficient, and compliant service in order to meet its contractual
and legal obligations.
Your day to day will include:
- Various PPM tasks including, but not limited to, tap testing, flushing & fixing, legionella tests,
pump/compressor fault diagnosis, assessing plant equipment, fire alarm, emergency lighting, fuses, desk
management, HVAC, AHU's & compressors maintenance, and other general maintenance works within
your abilities such as minor fabric, electric, plumbing & heating repairs. - Electrical activities from minor lighting and power installation works, re-lamping of fittings to general repair,
socket replacement - Carrying out electrical tests such as annual emergency light testing, DB and RCD checks, testing and
certification of all works in accordance with NICEIC regulations.
What are we looking for?
This role of Maintenance Engineer is great for you if:
- You have fault finding and reactive repairs experience, being able to conduct first line response of M&E
equipment, ranging from AHUs, air conditioning, pumps, pressurisation units, generators, fire alarm,
security, and access control systems - You are either Electrically biased or Mechanically biased but Multi Skilled is desirable
- You have the ability to conduct a variety of building & facilities maintenance tasks, including, but not
limited to, electrics & lighting, water & plumbing, HVAC, AHUs & compressors.
