We're looking for an Electro-Mechanical Degree Apprentice to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Network Team based in Okehampton, Devon, working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.
Location: Okehampton, Devon
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £19,000 per annum - with a salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course!
Start date: September 2025
How does a degree apprenticeship work?
As an Electro-Mechanical Degree Apprentice you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BEng in Electro-Mechanical Engineering with our university partner, Nottingham, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.
You'll work closely with the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team to provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets
Your day to day will include:
- Assisting with the life cycle of design, procurement, installation through to commisioning of MEICA activities.
- Ensuring solutions are compliant with time, cost and quality
- Assisting with documentation gathering and compliance with standards including CDM regulations 2015
- Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course
What are we looking for?
To enrol onto your degree, you will need:
- Driving Licence with access to own vehicle
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Grade 4 or above in English Language and Grade 5 or above in Maths.
- 3 A-levels (or equivalent) with at least a Grade B in A-level Maths and two additional A-levels at Grade B (or equivalent).
