We're looking for a Construction Lead to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks team
Location: Flexible within the Anglian Water region- mixture of office/ visiting sites and home working
Hours: 45 hours per week
In this role, you will be working on the Anglian Water IMRDS alliance (integrated maintenance, repair & development services). The team maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.
What will you be responsible for?
As the Construction Lead, you'll be working within the mainslaying team, who are committed to delivering high-quality, efficient solutions for critical infrastructure projects.
In this role, you will be leading the planned works construction team, to deliver upwards of 300 schemes annually to release improvements to the asset base, as well as being innovative and sustainable.
Your day to day will include:
- Working closely with the Engineering & Planning Managers to ensure solutions are delivered compliantly, within required timescales, budget and scope
- Management of the delivery teams across the region, including Senior Delivery Agents and their teams
- Ensuring your team actively engage in the governance processes for schemes and reviewing scheme construction packs prior to approval
- Monitor and review commercial data
- Drive excellence within Health & Safety
What are we looking for?
This role of Construction Lead is great for you if you hold:
- Extensive experience at management level within the construction/ water sector
- Experience of contract management and site supervision
- Experience on water networks construction projects and with water distribution systems, with a thorough understanding of the regulatory framework
- Significant commercial awareness
- Proven ability to understand the infrastructure from a strategic, tactical and operational perspective
- Balancing solution requirements with service delivery capabilities
- Good understanding and experience of the ROV process, particularly root cause analysis
- Full driving licence
