We're looking for a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice to join our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team based in Crawley, West Sussex, working towards a Level 6 apprenticeship in Civil Engineering.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading construction and infrastructure services company on an apprenticeship. Whilst working towards a recognised qualification, you'll be able to put your learnings into practice in your day-to-day role, helping you progress within your chosen career.

Location: Crawley, West Sussex

Hours: 40 hours per week 

Salary: £19,000 per annum - with a  salary earning potential of £35k+ upon completion of the course! 

Start date: September 2025

How does a degree apprenticeship work?

As a Civil Engineering Degree Apprentice you'll have the opportunity to gain practical experience whilst you study towards a BEng in Civil Engineering with our university partner, Coventry, all tuition and accommodation fees covered by us.

You'll work closely with the Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks team to provide design, build and maintenance solutions to protect the UK's essential services and assets. 

Your day to day will include:

• Ensuring compliance of works is being completed to the Specification and Drawings including dimensional and quality control of the works
• Completing site administration tasks including document control, materials ordering and assisting in production of safety documents
• Monitoring the works to ensure health and safety of all and protection of the environment
• Attending university during pre-determined block weeks to attend lectures and meet other students on your course

What are we looking for?

To enrol onto your degree, you will need:

• Driving License with access to your own vehicle
• 4 GCSEs (Including English Language and Science Level 4 or above, and Maths Level 5 or above)
• 96 UCAS Points from a minimum of 3 A-Levels, one of which must be Maths (or equivalent BTEC Level 3 qualifications in relevant subjects)
